The yellow adapter is used when you want to lie in the hug position for the time interval set on the pump (30, 60, or 90 minutes). If, for example, 30 minutes is selected, the patient first lies in the hug position for 30 minutes and then on their back for 30 minutes. After that, the system automatically alternates between the “hug” position and the supine position at the selected interval. Positioning in the “hug” position is beneficial because it promotes a sense of security, calm, and physical well-being through the release of the hormone oxytocin. It is an effective method for reducing stress, alleviating pain, and improving sleep quality.

Who uses it?
The adapter may be suitable for individuals who have had a blood clot, are paralyzed following an accident, are post-operative, or are temporarily immobile due to medication or a coma.
